In my pre-bakery era I loved to make all sorts of caramels, toffees, chocolates and other sweet treats for Christmas. My Grandma Sally shared her family recipes and taught me step by step - I credit a lot of my love of baking/creating to her. It’s been a few years since I’ve had time to make her toffee - but this felt like the perfect way to remember her and my dad this holiday season.

Trying to use every last bit of dough? Shape your dough inside your cutter, then roll it out and cut. If there are holes or gaps, use the excess around the edges to fill in, re-roll and cut again. Repeat as necessary. Happy Baking!!!
